Perc-Puppets Abtract-doodled.
¡Saludos garabstractos para todos!

PERCUSIONETAS or PERCUPPETS
For Art-O-Matic 2000, I made an installation with what I would call
in Spanish "Marionetas Percusivas", that I named "PERCUSIONETAS";
something like "Percussive Puppets" and call them "PERC-PUPPETS" in
English.
They are responsible for the interpretation of "Ñ", a new musical
like multimedia chamber opera on the Spanish letter "ñ".
The "Percusionetas" are fluorescents, "Abstract-doodled", and they
all make really weird noises. Can you imagine how fascinated they
were before we started the show?
The Perc-Puppets are Abstract-doodled because they are designed after
the abstract doodling I was doing so much that I almost got as weird as they are.
All the percusionetas were unconsciously inspired by the art of Gorky, De Kooning, Picasso, Miró, Minuhin, Deira, Dalí, Pollock, and the African and Native American art.
If somebody asks you what they are called in Spanish, tell them:
"Percusionetas Garabastractas".
¡Abstract-doodled regards for you guys!
